Chief Executive Officer


As the original founder, Richard delivers a dynamic leadership to the global EMEX team and takes a keen interest in delivering an ever-better client experience. He is passionate about the relationship between business performance and safety and a huge believer in harnessing the power of EHS insights to drive greater value for our Client’s shareholders. Prior to EMEX, Richard spent more than 9 years consulting with Arthur Andersen across the globe.

Simon Kelly is Co-Founder and CFO of Emex. In addition to this specific finance role, Simon also has an active involvement in sales and marketing. Simon has an MSc in Sustainability from Ashridge Business School and this enables him to help clients understand and navigate EHS and Environmental regulations.

With more than 20 years experience in software development, designing and implementing successful solutions on large scale projects for private and public sector organisations David is responsible for all aspects of the EMEX product development and product roadmap strategy. Having joined the group in 2006, David’s push for a better, simplified client experience has seen him take a lead role in the migration of the company’s software platform to a web-based SaaS architecture.

John Delargy

John joined Emex in 2012 as General Manager for Russia and CIS and has led the growth of the company in the region where they are now market leaders in Russia & Kazakhstan, having deployed the EMEX platform in some of the world’s top Oil & Gas & Mining companies. John graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, in Economics & Russian, in 2002. He spent 10 years consulting in the Commercial Real Estate industry, before joining Emex.
