The Emex Incident Management module is designed to provide a clear “line-of-sight” across the organisation allowing clients to gain real-time visibility and control over incidents and their remediation process, thereby ensuring investigations and corrective action capabilities are fully integrated.
When incidents occur that impact or threaten to impact your organisation, you need to react quickly. Your reaction speed will determine your ability to ensure operational continuity whilst minimising the adverse consequences and compliance with both regulatory and voluntary mandates.
Notification of an event prompts the launch of a series of robust workflows designed around your company’s incident management processes and the system enforces these processes rigorously throughout the lifecycle of the incident.
On notification, using the relevant business rules and measurement parameters, the system immediately runs an auto-assessment of the preliminary risk and business impact. This generates a priority response plan based on the nature of the event, its severity or the affected asset type. Based on this plan, the system then automatically routes and assigns actions for remediation utilising multiple alert and escalation functions along with powerful approval processing capabilities as required. The entire process is recorded for audit purposes with full document management support including where appropriate, photo/image capture and annotation.
