Aer Lingus Automate Health and Safety with Emex

The Irish airline Aer Lingus has chosen to automate its Health and Safety processes using Emex, across its bases in Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Belfast.

Aer Lingus selected the Emex system because of its configurable, customisable format, and high level of service implementation. In addition the ability to standardise risk assessment and audit templates in a central database will assist the airline build on best practise and significantly improve reporting capabilities.

Based in Dublin, Aer Lingus operates over 40 Airbus aircraft serving 4 continents. The company employs 4,000 people and has a turnover of €1.1 billion.

Aer Lingus will implement the following Emex modules:

    news sml     Risk Management – manage operational risk via a central risk register, implement common set of practices and controls, remove duplication of data and improve visibility via real time reporting and analysis.
    news sml     Site Audit & Inspections - improve control by gathering data recorded on all audits and inspections, including findings and corrective actions, into a single database.
