McNamara's implemented an Enterprise wide deployment of EMEX via Citrix across a number of their regional offices.
This facilitates the management and control of a number of key processes, which has enabled them to highlight areas within their company that were causes of concern. By using EMEX McNamara's has reduced its exposures to accidents and incidents and the company has enjoyed significant cost savings as a result.
EMEX provided McNamara's with Data Integration services to ensure a swift transition to the new system.

McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd., one of Northern Ireland’s largest building and civil engineering contractors, selected the Emex platform to automate core compliance and Health and Safety activities.
The company has an Integrated Management System for the business, and quality, the environment, and health & safety are managed to the international standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 with additional third party accreditation through NQA Ltd and Safe-T Cert. To maintain such standards management opted for an automated solution to achieve effective management of health and safety, and chose the following Emex modules: Audits & Inspections, Risk Management, Accidents & Incidents, Claims Manager and Projects CDM.
McLaughlin & Harvey use Emex Audits to monitor suppliers, using the advanced reporting capabilities of the system to track trends in supplier compliance. The company can thereby respond quickly to instances of non-conformance, and the link between the Audit and Accident module has enabled the company to identify responsibility for incidents more easily. Through integration with each module, Projects/ CDM Module is used to manage all aspects of Health and Safety on projects from planning through to completion, ensuring comprehensive visibility and achieving greater control.

Accord had identified a need to integrate and enhance their current management of risk and compliance.
Emex worked in conjunction with Accord to develop and extend the risk and project modules within the Emex solution. The result was an integrated solution to enable them greater control of CDM management and risk assessment process and allowed them in depth analysis of accident and incident reporting.
Accord deployed the Emex solution via Citrix to their business units across the United Kingdom.

Gem identified they required a greater level of reporting capabilities in relation to accident and incident analysis, deploying Emex Accidents to their offices via Microsoft Terminal Server enabled them to report and analyse accident data quickly and efficiently
Implementation of Emex HR has also enabled GEM to gain fast access to information and reports. Emex Training also tracks not only GEM's health and safety training, but also their continuing professional development training.
Emex Training, Emex Plant & Maintenance, Emex Risks and Emex Audits have provided Smurfit's with the ability to schedule and automate the task of the above activities that are imperative in providing their workforce with a safe working environment.
Pre-implementation workshops undertaken between Emex consultants and the Smurfit project team ensured both companies had a clear understanding of what was required to achieve a swift rollout of the software.

Kilsaran needed to create a central repository to manage the compliance to health and safety legislation.
It was identified that one central system needed to be implemented in order to locate, report and analyse data relating to claims, training and accidents and incidents. By implementing Emex they can provide data to various departments without having to email/fax etc. this has lead to a reduction the number of hard copy files kept on site.

Premier Periclase has implemented Emex Risks to manage their risk process and risk register.
This facilitates a central register of risk assessments that can be updated and maintained at the source of their creation. By using Emex Premier has been able to fulfil their need to generate both generic and dynamic risk assessments.
Emex Risks was deployed throughout the manufacturing plant using Microsoft Terminal Server.

The OPW is running EMEX software in a number of its sites including:

- St. Stephens Green;
- Killarney National Monuments Depot;
- Kilkenny National Monuments Depot;
- Mallow;
- JFK Park;
- National Botanics.
They use it to look at their compliance exposure relating to Accidents, Incidents, Training Exposure, Preventative Maintenance, Permits Issued and Risk Assessments in particular.

Limerick approached EMEX to implement an enterprise risk management solution to ensure that its management understood, monitored and controlled the risks that their staff was exposed to whilst carrying out their daily activities.

HSE implemented Emex Risks to aid their risk management across a number of disciplines.
Emex provides them with a central register of risk assessments of which they can build both initial and specific risk assessments. It also enables them to provide electronic access to a number of centres under their remit throughout Ireland.

The Irish Coast Guards (IRCG) is the nation-wide marine emergency organisation and is a division of the Department of Transport. It has delegated responsibility for marine emergency management in the Ireland Search and Rescue (SAR) Region and the Irish Pollution Response Zone and employs over 75 full-time staff and over 850 volunteer staff in 60 locations around the country.
In August 2007 Emex won the tender to provide the AARAS (Automated Audit and Risk Assessment System) for the IRCG. Migrating existing safety-check Word documents and Excel spreadsheets into an easily accessible database has helped the IRCG to centralise key information. AARAS will help the organisation continue to co-ordinate the activities of its 900 employees and volunteers, achieving transparent compliance with Health & Safety legislation.

Mango pride themselves on the highest level of customer service and presentation of their stores is a core part of their business.
To aid them in the monitoring and reviewing of their staff and stores Mango implemented Emex Mobile to provide accurate reporting and analysis of store inspections and audits. As the stores are position throughout Ireland, Mango identified a need for an audit and inspection system that enabled recording of data 'on the go'.
Since implementing Emex Mobile Mango have achieved significant improvement in implementing changes, which have resulted in increased revenue nationwide.

Superquinn has implemented EMEX in its head office with plans to roll it out to all of their stores across Ireland.
Superquinn needed to take control of its accident and incident recording and streamline the processes involved in retrieving data.
Part of the remit was to provide a solution that enabled them to track and monitor employee training and also use this information when analysing the accidents that occurred within the stores.

In response to increasing legislation surrounding Health and Safety, the Irish airline AerLingus chose to automate its Health and Safety processes using Emex, across its bases in Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Belfast. Based in Dublin, Aer Lingus operates over 40 Airbus aircraft serving 4 continents. The company employs 4,000 people and has a turnover of €1.1 billion.
Aer Lingus selected the Emex system because of its configurable, customisable format, and high level of service implementation. In addition the ability to standardise risk assessment and audit templates in a central database will assist the airline build best practise and significantly improve reporting capabilities.
Arena Housing Group is one of the largest Housing Associations in the UK, supplying around 12,000 homes for 30,000 residents in the North of England. The company operates across a wide geographical area, carrying out many activities from new-build and refurbishment, to the servicing of nursing homes and corporation housing.
Arena Housing consists of several subsidiaries, Registered Social Landlords and Associates, each with a varying degree of autonomy and independence. Emex is working with Arena to develop an automated health and safety management system that will be used by each section of the group incorporating Emex Risks, Emex Audits & Inspections, Emex Accidents & Claims and Emex Plant & Maintenance. The system will facilitate the controlled sharing of key data between each business unit, aiding in the organic implementation of best practise across the organisation.
Herefordshire Housing (HHL) is the lead housing agency in Herefordshire. HHL took over the running of Herefordshire Council’s housing stock on 26th November 2002 after a Large Scale Voluntary Transfer (LSVT). It has since adopted Charitable Status and is a not-for-profit Registered Social Landlord, which provides approximately 5,300 affordable homes throughout Herefordshire.
Herefordshire Housing has chosen Emex to automate the risk assessment process and training management function across the organisation. Emex Risks will be configured to manage operational risk via a web-based central risk register, in line with Herefordshire’s specific risk model and business processes. Automation will standardise the risk assessment process, building best practise and removing duplication of data while also improving visibility via real time reporting and analysis.
In the second phase of implementation Emex Training will be rolled out, enabling management maintain a single training register for all personnel, schedule courses, monitor certificate expiry dates and plan reassessment training. Advanced Workflow and reporting functionality will further ensure all staff are adequately trained for the tasks they are required to perform.

Tullow Oil selected Emex to provide an automated web-based Incident Management system that will automate and centralise the recording of all incidents, managing corrective actions, and identifying trends.
Powerful workflow functionality will facilitate greater scheduling and tasking, helping management in Tullow to ensure assigned actions are monitored effectively. Storing incident investigation and corrective action data centrally on the web will achieve the dynamic sharing of information, enabling each business unit to quickly respond to problem trends and potential risks; ensuring that best practise is organically developed and enforced in a consistent manner across the entire organisation.
